But, let’s be real, that other wig? Total letdown. Shiny as heck, and you gotta soak it in fabric softener to tone down the fake look. Not even worth the effort. The hair’s so thin, you can see the bands on the top. And that “vibrant” color? Not so vibrant. Plus, the dark blue’s messed up, and the pastels are the same length as the brights. And the part? Way off-center. Save your cash – I’ve seen five-buck wigs that are way better.

This wig is long and thick. I’m 5’2″ and it goes almost all the way down my back. Unlike many long wigs that tangle and lose hairs when you brush them, this one brushes out easily. I’ve brushed it about five times and only lost about ten strands each time. The smooth, wavy look bounces back after brushing, and the curling at the bottom hasn’t faded yet. The color is just like in the picture—muted pastel colors. I bought it for a unicorn costume and love how it looks. It’s not bold or neon. To store it, I braid the wig while it’s on my head, and it stores without tangling. The strands are securely attached, so I hope it lasts for years in my daughter’s dress-up bin.
