My daughter was super hyped to rock this wig for her faerie Ren Faire outfit, but it was a bit of a letdown. Those pesky little hard bits inside kept poking her, so it barely lasted 10 minutes. She even griped about how scratchy and toasty it felt, despite the chilly, rainy weather. Sure, the colors were pretty sweet, but it’s a bit of a tangler. Still, since it wasn’t crazy pricey, it might suit someone who’s more wig-savvy than us.

I got this wig as a confidence booster for my six-year-old daughter who has alopecia. It braids well, which helps keep it looking nice, and it goes down to her butt, making her the kid with the longest hair in her class—big deal for a normally bald kid! It combs out well, and we haven’t seen much shedding. It’s obviously too big for her, which is a bit of a bummer on the playground, but not enough to stop her from loving it anyway. I know it’s probably my fault, but my hair is a completely different color—nowhere near platinum blonde or anything like that. So, I can’t wear this unless I put on a hat or a headband.
