Cute, great for Halloween costume
Now, I gotta admit, I didn’t realize the color would clash so bad with my hair. I mean, I’m not exactly rocking platinum blonde, you know? I might have to resort to some colored hairspray or maybe slap on a hat or headband to make it work. And honestly, some bangs would’ve been a nice touch. But hey, the colors are stunning, just like they showed in the picture.

Picked up this wig for a Halloween costume, and gotta say, it’s decent for the price. Not rainbow like I expected, more blue/green, but still eye-catching. This wig is long and thick. I’m 5’2″ and it goes most of the way down my back. Unlike many long wigs that tangle quickly and lose all their hairs when you try to brush them, this one brushes out very easily. I’ve fully brushed it out about five times now and only lose about ten strands each time. The smooth, wavy look comes back after brushing, and the curling effect at the bottom hasn’t faded yet. The color is exactly as pictured—muted pastel colors. I got it to wear with a unicorn costume, and I’m pleased with how it looks. It’s not bold, bright, or neon. To store it, I’ve been braiding the wig while it’s on my head, and it stores without tangling. Finally, the strands are well secured, so I hope it’ll last for a few years in my daughter’s “fun dress-up” box. It’s definitely worth the money. Just get it.

Now, about that other wig… Save your money, seriously. It’s a total letdown. Shiny as a new penny, and not in a good way. I had to soak it in fabric softener just to make it look halfway decent, but even that couldn’t save it. The hair’s so thin, you can see the scalp! And don’t get me started on the color. The “vibrant” hues? Yeah, not so vibrant. The dark blue was already damaged when it arrived, and the pastels are just as long as the bright colors, so it’s like, what’s even the point? Plus, the part’s off-center, which is just false advertising if you ask me. Trust me, steer clear of this one. I’ve seen five-dollar wigs that could put it to shame.
