Ordered a whopping seven of these fiery red wigs. Yeah, you heard me, seven! Bro was back from Brazil, where his gal’s got this fiery red hair, so we all sported red wigs to welcome him back. Even our tiny tot and our grandpa joined in! Okay, so the wig wasn’t exactly toddler-friendly, but we made it work for the little one, for the short time she’d keep it on. And let me tell ya, we looked fly! Quality was way better than I anticipated. Comfortable, easy to slap on, and looked killer straight outta the box. No fuss, just instant fab. All seven wigs were in tip-top shape, seriously impressed by the quality. Didn’t see that one coming!

Seriously, this wig is a steal at $13. It’s got that synthetic hair shine, not as bad as those Halloween store wigs, but still not totally like real hair. In person, the waves are a bit less pronounced than in the pics, but that’s no biggie for me. I gave it a comb-through right away ’cause it came a bit frizzy in the bag, which might explain the texture loss. The bangs are easy to work with, just need a comb or some water spray. Haven’t tried heat on it yet. Looks pretty good overall, except for that part at the top of the head. You know, that round part that separates the bangs from the rest? Hate those! Also, the wig cap’s black, which clashes with the cherry-red hair. If you don’t cover your ears, you can see the cap and your real hair underneath, not a good look. The wig came with these adjustment straps, but I never use ’em with my wigs and do just fine. They’re pretty much useless here, just get in the way. Oh, and those bangs have some shorter bits that stick out awkwardly, but they seem to sort themselves out after some combing.

And don’t get me started on the wig cap. It’s black, which clashes hard with the cherry-red hair. And if you don’t cover your ears, you’re exposing a hot mess of wig cap and real hair peeking through. They threw in these head strap thingies to adjust the size, but honestly, they’re more trouble than they’re worth. Bangs get stuck under ’em, and they’re just a nuisance. Speaking of bangs, some of ’em are shorter than others, like these random inch-long bits that insist on sticking out like antennas. Luckily, they seem to sort themselves out after a while.
