So, I had a pretty awful haircut, which meant I needed a new wig. I ended up buying this one mainly for the color—it’s absolutely gorgeous. When I first took it out of the package, it felt really soft. Now, I’m still trying to warm up to the whole balayage thing. It’s a big trend right now, but honestly, those bleached bits look like a kid did them.

The wig claimed to be pre-plucked, but I still had to go in and thin out the front and part because it felt too thick. I also had to bleach the roots a bit to blend them better with my fair skin. Even though it’s supposed to be human hair from young donors, it feels really fine—almost like a yak blend, but it does say it’s human hair.

I’ve gotten a ton of compliments when I wear it, and the color matches my skin tone really well. I got the 13 x 4 lace front, but it’s not glueless, so I tried a few different methods to melt the lace, but nothing seems to make it stick properly for long.

As for shedding, there’s been very little, which surprised me since some other reviews mentioned a lot of shedding. This wig has been pretty solid in that department. Overall, I’d rate it around 4.5 stars. I even bought a second one so I could switch between them and not wear the same one all the time.

Considering how crazy expensive wigs can get (like over $3000!), finding one that looks good, feels good, and gets compliments for under $100 is definitely a steal.
