So, I got this new wig because I had a disaster with a haircut. I mean, it was a total mess, so I figured I needed something to cover it up. Found this one, mainly because I was digging the color. And let me tell you, the color is fire!

When I whipped the wig out of the package, it felt pretty soft, which was a good sign. Now, I’m trying to get on board with this whole balayage thing. I know it’s all the rage, but sometimes those bleached bits look like a DIY job gone wrong, you know? Supposedly, it’s pre-plucked, but I still had to do some thinning out upfront and around the part. It was just too thick for my liking.

Had to do a little DIY myself and bleach the roots to blend them better with my fair skin. Now, it claims to be human hair, straight from some young donors, but honestly, it feels more like those yak blends to me. Still, people seem to love it when I wear it, and the color really suits my complexion.

Went for the 13 x 4 lace front, but it’s not glueless, which was a bit of a bummer. Tried melting the lace a few ways, but couldn’t find one that stuck (pun intended!). Not much shedding, though. I’ve read some reviews where people were losing hair left and right, but mine’s held up pretty well.

Overall, I’d give it a solid 4.5 stars. Liked it so much I bought another one, so now I can switch ’em up and not rock the same look every day. And considering how crazy expensive wigs can get, snagging one that looks good, feels good, and gets compliments for less than a hundred bucks? That’s a steal in my book.

But hey, let’s talk about the good stuff. First off, this wig is legit. Like, from the lace to the length, it’s all on point. And bonus: no weird smell, and it didn’t shed at all.
