I’m still trying to warm up to the balayage style, even though it’s super popular right now. To be honest, the bleached parts kind of remind me of a DIY job done by a kid. The wig claims to be pre-plucked, but I still had to go in and thin out the front and part area because it felt too thick.
Because I have fair skin, I had to bleach the roots a bit to make them blend better. It says it’s human hair from young donors, but the texture feels really fine—almost like a yak blend, even though it claims to be human hair. Despite that, I get tons of compliments when I wear it, and the color really suits my skin tone.
I got the 13 x 4 lace front version, but it’s not glueless. I tried a few methods to secure it better, but I haven’t found a perfect way yet. Surprisingly, there’s hardly any shedding with this wig. I read other reviews that mentioned lots of shedding, but this one has been pretty sturdy in my experience.
